धन-वापसी नीति (Refund & Cancellation Policy)

ज्ञानार्थी फाउंडेशन को किए गए दान स्वैच्छिक (voluntary) और सामान्य रूप से non-refundable होते हैं, क्योंकि प्राप्त होते ही यह राशि बच्चों की शिक्षा और संस्था के संचालन में लगाई जाती है।
दान वापसी कब संभव है
निम्नलिखित परिस्थितियों में हम धन-वापसी पर विचार करते हैं:
- तकनीकी गड़बड़ी — यदि किसी technical error के कारण आपसे एक ही दान के लिए एक से अधिक बार राशि कट गई हो (duplicate payment)
- गलत राशि — यदि आपने गलती से इच्छित राशि से अधिक राशि दान कर दी हो
- अनधिकृत लेन-देन — यदि आपको लगता है कि आपके खाते से बिना अनुमति के भुगतान हुआ है
वापसी के लिए कैसे संपर्क करें
ऊपर बताई गई किसी भी स्थिति में, कृपया भुगतान की तारीख से 7 दिनों के अंदर नीचे दी गई जानकारी के साथ हमसे संपर्क करें:
- आपका पूरा नाम
- भुगतान की गई राशि और तारीख
- Razorpay Payment ID या हमारी रसीद संख्या (GDRID-XXXXX)
- वापसी का कारण

प्रक्रिया और समय
सही पाए गए अनुरोध की समीक्षा के बाद, स्वीकृत धन-वापसी सामान्यतः 7–10 कार्यदिवसों के भीतर आपके मूल भुगतान माध्यम (card/UPI/bank account) में वापस कर दी जाती है। यह समय आपके बैंक या Razorpay की प्रक्रिया पर भी निर्भर हो सकता है।
नोट: यदि आपने 80G tax benefit के लिए receipt प्राप्त कर ली है और राशि वापस की जाती है, तो वह receipt अमान्य (void) मानी जाएगी और उसका उपयोग tax filing में नहीं किया जा सकता।

Donations made to Gyanarthi Foundation are voluntary and generally non-refundable, as the amount is put toward children's education and the organisation's operations as soon as it is received.
When a Refund May Be Considered
We consider refund requests in the following situations:
- Technical error — if a technical issue caused you to be charged more than once for the same donation (duplicate payment)
- Incorrect amount — if you donated an amount higher than intended, by mistake
- Unauthorised transaction — if you believe a payment was made from your account without your authorisation
How to Request a Refund
In any of the situations above, please contact us within 7 days of the payment date with the following details:
- Your full name
- The amount paid and the date of payment
- Your Razorpay Payment ID or our receipt number (GDRID-XXXXX)
- Reason for the refund request

Process and Timeline
Once a request is reviewed and approved, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days, credited back to your original payment method (card/UPI/bank account). The exact timing may also depend on your bank's or Razorpay's processing schedule.
Note: If you have already received an 80G tax receipt for a donation that is later refunded, that receipt will be considered void and cannot be used for tax filing purposes.
